Can you install two Pegasus R4i MPX modules in the same Mac Pro?

No, you cannot. You can have 1 Pegasus R4i MPX and use Pegasus32 series storage using the external Thunderbolt 3™ ports on the Mac Pro.

I installed the Pegasus R4i MPX module and the unit is not being detected?

Its possible the R4i is sitting in the wrong slot. Check the following. Click Here.
I booted into the macOS desktop and I don't see the RAID volume?

Make sure you install the Promise Utility. Its possible one or more drives came up missing at boot up. If a drive is not latched or detected it can lead to the Pegasus R4i marking the array “incomplete”.

One of the drives got marked “dead” by the Pegasus RAID engine. How do Identify the drive physically?

The Promise Utility will advise you which HDD module failed and you need to make a note of that Bay slot number before turning the system off. Follow these instructions Click Here.
Will the Promise Utility monitor and manage my external Pegasus as well as my internal Pegasus R4i?
