Ingesting, Editing, Delivery with MAM and Long Term Cloud Archiving
Promise will demonstration of each stage of the rich media production workflow featuring solutions appropriate for any scale operation from a single editor to a large post-production operation. Specifically, Pegasus3 will appear in the ‘Ingesting’ workstation to highlight the 40 Gpbs performance of Thunderbolt 3, (twice the bandwidth of Thunderbolt 2). Apollo Cloud will be showcased as a personal cloud storage device, ideally suited for convenient sharing of small clips or low resolution review files. The ‘Editing’ demonstration includes the Promise latest VTrak All Flash Array EFA5310 (16G fibre channel SSD array storage), especially suited for a medium-sized enterprise that requires a high-bandwidth solution with RAID reliability and performance, and SANLink3 to link Thunderbolt 3 enabled workstations and laptops to the shared production SAN.
For large post-production studios, Promise will showcase its latest additions; the VTrak A5000 shared SAN appliance, the VTrak Flash Array EFA5310, and the VSkyCube C100 hyperconvergence infrastructure to be featured in the ‘Delivery’ and ‘Long Term Cloud Archiving’ demonstrations. Special emphasis will be on the advantages of cloud archiving with simplified deployment and unified management for the media workflow. These new enterprise solutions deliver outstanding performance for multi-user workflows with high resolution (4K, 5K, 6K, 8K) footage for Post-Production and Broadcasting, House of Worship, Sports and Education environments.
