Regional Sales Manager U3001RSM/KK1
Job Summary:
Develop and grow major customer accounts, buying either direct or through distribution partners,including SIs, VARs, and OEM's at Promise. Represent and promote the good will of the company.
Essential Job Function:
Name and profile potential customers that would bring relatively substantial amount of business that is worth while maintining direct and close relationships
Develop those accounts within assigned time frames revenue generation
Grow some the current customer accounts
Work with the assigned FAEs to help resolve all customer technical issues. Escalate promptly to theimmediate supervisor or beyond, on any major issues that are not resolved to the customer's fullestsatisfaction on timely manner. Responsible for ultimate customer satisfaction
Maintain high quota achievements. Quotas will be re-assessed every year/ half year/ quarter
Maintain customer promotional programs by working with the marketing communication and Productmarketing Managers.
Ensure that the customers are trained on the product features, advantages and technical details
Work with the marcom and product marketing managers to tailor make appropriate product salestraining material for each customer requirements.
As frequently as possible, feed - back to Product marketing Mangers, Product Managers andengineering staff of the product feature requirements and bugs. Track them to make sure thoseitems are fixed according to the schedule and escalate aggressively if necessary.
Time to time participate in the product roadmap meetings for feed-backs as well as to gain aknowledge of the future product offerings at Promise.
Attend trade shows as necessary and required

Qualifications:
We are looking for someone located in Southern California. It is a plus if you have experience in the Hollywood market (i.e. Fox, Paramount, Disney, etc.) as well as selling into tier 2 OEMs (i.e. Unisys, Overland, etc.).
5+ years of sales experience. Storage products and/or A/V industry sales experience is highlydesirable

Job Summary:
- Primary internal expert for critical partner product related issues within Promise, interacting with Developement, Marketting, SQA, Quality, CMs and component teams. Special expertise and focus will be for HDDs but the role also covers other critical partner HW & SW (...e.g SSD, FC switches/routers, motherboards, video ingest hw, etc). -Be the primary technical liaison with partners for critical features and technical issues at all phases -Monitor critical partner product industry roadmaps and influence adoption of new technologies, features, products for Promise products relevant to these. -Define quality tests for critical partner products within RAID systems at all phases, qualification thru integration. - Implement and monitor quality tests in supply chain for production. -Support marketting and commercial efforts with providers, sourcing selection, pricing, eval units, etc
Essential Job Function:
10+ yrs experience in HDD industry Solid technical understanding of HDD technology, features, hw, sw and fw with specific expertise in any of these. Knowledge of cost structure is valuable. Direct experience with HDD testing - eval thru integration phases - and familiarity with primary test tools and methods. Familiar with Quality/Reliability monitoring of HDDs and relevant issues Good expertise with integration of HDDs with servers, NAS & SANs RAID storage systems, electromech/OS/SW interactions Familiarity with Windows/Linux/MacOS, shell scripting or programming. Customer Buisness Manager
Job Summary:
As a part of the OEM/Major accounts management Team at Promise Technology, the candidate will be responsible for driving all pre and post sales activities to ensure design wins, timely execution of critical programs, day to day activities, and overall customer satisfaction.
Additional Duties:
Duties include but are not limited to:
Track and drive schedules, issues, and status for all programs through cross functional teams at Promise and OEM customer.
Maintain and provide weekly status reports on all programs during weekly core team meeting. Responsible for scheduling and driving meeting
Act as single point of contact for customer and internal teams at Promise
Develop and report on Key Performance Indicators for improvemnt of program execution and overall customer satisfaction
Drive execution of RFQs through cross functional teams. Coordinate and deliver on time response back to OEM customer.
Coordinate and drive kickoff meetings for each new program and capture all schedules, deliverable, specs, requirements.
Coordinate and drive customer QBR meetings. Track and drive improvements, prepare presentation materials, drive post-mortems issues and activities to closure.
Escalte to relevent department heads on any unresolved issues in a timely manner
Out line customer feed-back of the industry trends in the SATA/SAS PCI RAID controllers, external storage market (SAN/DAS/NAS) and SOHO NAS product segments

Design, develop and maintain the protocol stacks and ASIC drivers for RAID Storage Subsystems. Specifically:
Design, Implement and Unit Test host protocol (FC/SAS/ISCSI/SCSI) ASIC drivers for Promise External Storage RAID controllers;
Provide accurate design documents for all the modules developed;
Participate in peer review of design and code;
Work with global engineering teams to define next generation feature sets;
Define the management interface to configure the protocol modules;
Work with EUT/EVT/DVT/SQA teams during the product testing cycles, resolve issues, provide documentation and participate in bug review meetings; and
Interface with external ASIC vendors and perform research on various ASIC solutions available.
