Promise VTrak storage is built like an iron tank and provides unbelievable throughput. The configuration options for XSAN installations, provides the flexibility that my clients need. Throughput, reliability and flexibility is why I won't use anything else.
 

We are using the Promise VTrak at Stanley Thomas Associates, and found the product setup process very easy. When we called support for assistance, the technician provided excellent service and worked with us until we had everything we needed. We give Promise high marks on an excellent storage system and customer service.
 

We make promos to feature documentaries for the biggest artists in music so speed and reliability were paramount to us. We went with VTrak based on Apple's recommendation and couldn't be happier. Most importantly, the customer service guys know what they are talking about and are there when you need em', thats a first.

As an award winning video production house with locations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Seattle speed and reliability are paramount to us. We had issues with our old system, so we replaced it with the Promise array which has been operating flawlessly. Setup only took seconds and it has delivered unbelievable performance. We are running 10bit HD uncompressed video and have never dropped a frame. The speed is amazing and we will be buying more.

The combination of the E and J series is a home run. The cost savings is obvious when side by side with other drive vendors, and the performance is outstanding. Our clients need something that's stable, fast and easy to use, so we chose both the E and J series Promise RAIDs in an XSan 2 environment. Recently our clients conformed two Smashing Pumpkins movies simultaneously, doing multiple streams of uncompressed HD in several edit bays from a single E and J series RAID without issue. Now we're on a new project working in 4:4:4 RGB Log and the SAN is still just a workhorse.

Rarely do we get good, fast AND cheap all in one package these days but Promise has done just that.. Nice job guys.
 

What I like about the Promise VTrak is that Apple is now offering a solution that is both price and performance competitive. Because the Promise VTrak is Apple qualified, you know you are making a good choice and getting a product that works.

We have installed Promise in a handful of organizations since their launch with Apple. We do a lot with Direct Attach storage but for Xsan, Promise is the only thing we spec.

The VTrak is working great. We are in the final stages of testing before implementation and so far everything is going well. We are looking forward to taking full advantage of your product.
