For the first time in Japan, Promise will demo its new solutions built around the recently released Thunderbolt 3™ interface, Pegasus3 and SANLink3. Highlights or Promise’s Inter BEE showcase include:
- Ingest: Pegasus3 brings 40Gbps Thunderbolt 3 to the award-winning Pegasus line of Desktop RAID storage. Pegasus3 delivers blistering performance speeds for creative professionals creating high resolution video and rich media content. Promise will also showcase the SANLink3 16G Fibre Channel interface and the SANLink3 NBASE-T Ethernet interface. The bus-powered SANLink3 T1 model interfaces with a single Thunderbolt 3 port to a single NBASE-T Ethernet port, supporting 2.5, 5 or 10Gbps speeds. The SANLink3 16G FC interfaces with two Thunderbolt 3 ports to two Fiber Channel ports, all in a compact design.
- Edit: A brand new VTrak E-Class array – the VTrak E5000 will be demonstrated as part of the edit solution bringing 16G Fibre Channel connectivity combined with 12G SAS. Additionally, Promise’s VTrak A-Class shared SAN storage will be showcased.
- Archive: Vess R2600 PRO is optimized for end-to-end workflows, making it ideal for mid-sized businesses requiring a rich media NAS solution that delivers enterprise RAID reliability and performance for archiving content.
- Cloud: With Apollo Cloud, creative professionals can easily and conveniently store and share all of their videos and photos. Apollo, personal cloud storage is perfect for sharing design proposals or video drafts with clients.
